----Your Pad----

Lets begin with the begin. When you log-in to FL the first page of the game is: your pad. This page contains lots of links and it is confusing to many new players. On the picture below you can see a screenshot of ‘’your pad’’ . There are 4 red boxes:

Detailed stats:

Here you can check whether your dead or alive. Also your hunger level and amount of stamina left can be found here. All the other stuff like experience, money can also be found here. Instead of money you will se the word kerpels. Kerpels is the currency of Frog-Life.

Vote for FL:

Off course you can vote for FL in particular gaming sites like the TOP-200 list. By doing this you don’t only help the game but also yourself. You can get extra stamina, stat-points, nuggets, simulator battles and kerpels for it. So its wise to vote every day

Access to many areas:

In ‘’your pad’’ are lots of locations:

Closet:

Here you can find your newly bought clothes. You can put them on in this section

Amory:

Here you can equip/un-equip your weaponry.

Garage:

Here you will see an overview of all your cars. From your garage you can drive over to other players garage and perhaps steal them.

Basement:

In your basement you can manage your robots. All your robot-items like wood and steel are stored here. In this location you can build/repair and store your robots.

My forum Posts:

Well this section speaks for itself. Here you can check all your forum posts.

Latest news:

All the news concerning properties, FLCF mails, Battles and transfers can be found in this location.

Flash Zone:

Are you sick and tired of losing battles which you should have won? Well here’s the real deal. No text based battles anymore. Here you can battle other players in flash style.

Now that you know how your pad works it’s time to discover the metropolis.

----Metropolis----

On the picture beneath you can see each section of Frog-world. To master the game and become the very best, it’s wise that you know what each section contains so that one day you might be able to get some extra advantage from that.

As you can see FL has a lot of sections. I have divided the metropolis into 12 sections so that I can explain these things step by step. Off course you can easily jump from section 1 to 12 if you prefer. There isn’t a preferable order, It’s just the best that you know everything of the game.

Check the picture beneath on which section you want some extra information.

As you can see there are 12 different sections. On left side you also see a navigation bar. Note that there are several templates which provide different navigation bars. Most of these bars provide quick links to frequently used locations of the game.

#Section 1: Government

This Section contains 4 different locations:

-Legislature

-Voting Booth

-Crime Busters

-Frog Prison

Legislature:

The political centre of Frog Life. Though it is glamorous and elite, the governors and politicians of FL have opened it to every frog so they can see the vital information of the

game.

Donation Station

Here you can donate to the game. Donating to the game will give you certain advantages to non-donators.

Hall of Information
Here, you can view vital statistics about FL, such as our counts of different genders of frogs and religion preferences..

Hall of Fame
Here, view the best, strongest, richest frogs existing in FL. Enter to admire, of find your ranking among FL's elite.

Game Staff

Though you can't actually touch it, through a guarded glass window you can view the original charter of those who founded Metropolis, and those who continue to make it a safe place today. Only Key Development staff can edit the charter, but you can look at it and visit the offices of the different employees of FL.

Its Understandable that most players want to become staff. But how do you become a staff member? Well here’s the answer:
Most of the time Key Development will not hire staff unless there is an imminent need for it. The best advice is, stay active. If you are an honest, upstanding player with a clean record, you have a chance at becoming staff. Those who beg, whine or even ask to become staff will most likely not be at all considered for appointments to game administration.

Game Radio

Here you can put your favourite music on FL. Listen to you own favourite music to improve the game-play and enjoy FL even more!

Divorce

In the legislature you can file a divorce. Note that you can marry some one after both players are at least 60 days old. Marriage provides players certain advantages.

Voting Booth:

The voting booth gives FL democracy. The bringer of freedom, the savior of oppression. Unfortunately for you, however, Frog Life is not a democracy. It is an aristocracy and you must do as the staff say. Fortunately for your frog, FL's staff are very concerned about what players have to say. (No sarcasm intended.) Visit the voting booth to show your input on latest and most pressing game issues. Remember - every vote counts - your vote could be the one that influences a major programming decision. Please note that although it is alright to try to convince someone to vote a certain way, it is illegal in FL to gather, say, a group of friends and have them all vote on the same topic in order to influence the poll.

Crime Busters:

Have you noticed anything weird lately? Someone has gained 20 levels in 1 day and received lots of money? As soon as you think someone is cheating please make a file with screenshots and some other proof and submit it here. By doing this the Game staff can arrest the cheating player and send him to frog prison.

Frog Prison:

If the Game staff has caught you on cheating or breaking FL’s rules (read the rules section on the log-in page) you will be send to the jail. According to the rules you have broken the FL staff will give you a suitable punishment. It can vary from 1 day jail time to account deletion. So obey the rules of FL.

#Section 2: Shopping

This section contains 5 different locations:

-Artillery Shop

-Kyoto’s Automobiles

-Auction House

-Player Owned Shops

-Cosmos

Artillery Shop:

The Artillery shop is the place to buy sine weaponry for your account. These weapons will enhance your account and can be the difference between losing or winning a battle. The Artillery shop provides over 200 different weapons and armour.

As you can see on the picture above, the artillery shop also provides special Items. There you can buy items necessarily for mining nuggets: pick, rock hammer and the warp tunnel and car invading: saw, chain saw and invisible dynamite.

We will get back on the special items in the topic: The Start. Lets get back to the armour and weaponry.

There is a clear way to see this, the more speed and strength/defence the weapon/armour has the more efficient it is in battle. The statistic you see on a weapon/armour will be added to your frog's statistics.

Therefore, if two people had the exact same weapon and armour, but one player had slightly better character stats, chances are that player would win the battle.

Many players share a common problem with weapons and armour. In order for them to work you must have them equipped! You can equip and un-equip weapons and armour in your pad. Just click on the link "Armoury" to take control over what weapons/armour you want your frog to be using in battles.

Kyoto’s Automobiles

Here you will see the list of your owned cars. You can show your cars, buy mini cars to steal cars or  use the old fashion way by driving with your special car to someone’s garage and steal their car with a saw, chainsaw or invisible dynamite.

Auction House

If your tired of your old stuff like: gym membership cards, healing powders, food and all the other items located in your inventory. You can put them up to auction here. Who knows…you might make up a good profit.

Player owned shops

If you have an ambition to become an entrepreneur, well here is your chance. You will have the opportunity to start your own shop in FL. Here you can sell everything which is located in your inventory. If you develop a good strategy and get lots of customers you might become rich very fast.

Cosmos

What better way to personalize your frog than giving it a new set of clothes? By going to Cosmos, the fashion boutique, in Metropolis, you can try on all the different outfits and come out with the one you want!

Accessories
Give your frog a personal touch! Accessorize their look with the Cosmos accessories department! Simply try on and purchase what you want!

#Section 3: Services

This section contains 5 different locations:

-Bank

-Hospital

-Hit man Alley

-Landfill

-Stock Market

Bank

The main point of the FL bank is to safeguard your money. Here you can deposit all your money so that other players cant steal it from your pockets during battles. Its totally free. Off course the Bank offers much more then just a deposit account.

you can perform a variety of banking and investment transactions. Some examples are buying stocks, purchasing bonds and making transactions on your bank account.

Investments
Every frog wants to see their money grow. By buying stocks or bonds, you can earn interest or see your money appreciate, without doing any work.

The Banking' Shack
No one knows what goes on in the small house behind the Metropolis bank. Some say there are investments there, the riskiest type of all...

Hospital

After being killed by a player or taking a death pill, you will need to revive yourself to battle another player. To do so, just go to the hospital. From here you can heal yourself and be brought back to life! HP (hit points) are what determines if you are at full health, hurt, or dead. You can go to the hospital to heal or totally resurrect yourself. When your HP is 0, you are dead, if it is full you are at maximum health, and if it is partially full than you are hurt. You will have to pay a certain amount of kerpels for the hospital's service. The hospital finds out how much you have to pay by multiplying the amount of hit points you need restored to be at full health by five. Unless you have a legion that covers some or all of this cost, you will have to pay this or remain dead until the next reset. Every reset all the players get revived to full health (full HP).

Death Pills
If you want to kill yourself so that your money is protected or some other weird reason without adding another loss to your stats, use a death pill. It will kill you instantly!

Hit man Alley

This is your information source. Got an enemy you can't take down? Hire an assassin and he'll take them down for you. Have a need to know another player's stats? Pay the fee and you can get the latest on any frog.

After entering the alley, select your preferred option and enter the ID of the victim. Follow the straightforward instructions and your task will be complete! All services at the Hit Man Alley cost 3000 kerpels.

Landfill

The landfill is the ultimate in item circulation. By dropping an item in the landfill, you can hope that maybe someone will pick it up and you will recieve bonus money. The landfill helps to give free items to poorer frogs, while circulating money to richer frogs. Using the landfill will do your bit for poor frogs...and could reap you a fortune!

So how do you dump an item into the landfill? Simply dump your items into the landfill by clicking "dump" beside an item on the "Inventory" page.

Your item will be dropped into the landfill, and you could receive anywhere between 0 and 1000 bonus kerpels.

Also, you can pick up any item sitting in the landfill by entering and snatching it. Try to get what you can, because every ay the landfill is cleared to make room for more items by the sanitation company. You can dump 2 items a day and snatch 1 item. Have fun!

Stock Market

The stock market is basically legalized gambling. Based on how much in demand a stock is, players can make or lose amazing amounts of money.

Buying stock is easy. Simply go and look at the current market and choose the stock you wish to purchase. The price will be outlined clearly. Type in the amount of shares you wish to buy and click "Buy".

Either by visiting the stock or viewing the holding summary on your brokerage page, you can see your profit or loss and other useful information. By either clicking trade or clicking on the name of the stock while viewing the current market, you will get to the page that explains the stock. There you can sell your shares by typing in the amount you wish to sell and clicking Sell. The amount will immediately be credited to your kerpels on hand. So don’t forget to bank them!

By owning a stock, you legally have the right to know who else owns it. Simply go to the stock that you own and click View All Shareholders to see a summary of shareholders and their holdings in the corporation. If you own 0%, that means that you do not own a big enough share of the company to be a majority shareholder. Shareholders with 1% or more are majority shareholders and help to control the company.

On the home page you can view a summary of your current holding position and your overall profit or loss. This is useful when making decisions about what to do with your money.

#Section 4: Properties

This section contains 3 different locations:

-Your Base

-Explore

-Property Warehouse

Properties are a huge and important part of the game. So it is wise to read this explanation first:

Get into the exciting game of real estate! Possibly Frog Life's most profitable and risky investment. In order to begin using properties, you need a membership card in the place where you want to build. Afterward, you need to begin building. Currently players can own a maximum of two properties (three if they are a donator), so defend them well - destruction is easy and taxes are high, so the players with low cash reserves in the bank will suffer.

Properties in FL are a competitive game - not for the weak. Frequent invasions and losses of money come, so it isn't a place to pour your life savings into. It comes down to the richest, most powerful, most ruthless frog, and they will be the only one to ultimately succeed. Buy a property, try your best - and beware. ALSO note that players under 100 days old get two weeks protection on any new property they get from natural disasters (events which hurt durability), Max Powers (plague release on employees), and player attacks. Players 100 days old and over, will receive one week of protection.

Property Protection
Properties that are no more than 2 weeks old and are owned by players who are less than 100 days old will be protected from natural disasters, Max Powers, and player attacks.

Properties that are no more than one week old and are owned by players who are 100 days old or more will also be protected from natural disasters, Max Powers, and player attacks.

Property Freezing
All third properties owned by ex-donators will be frozen. The property that freezes is random and it cannot be unfrozen until you donate again. Frozen properties are protected from Max Powers, natural disasters, and player attacks. However, frozen properties will not collect an income and also will not be manageable until you donate again.

Your Base

Here you can do lots of things concerning properties. You can manage your properties: Repairing them and hiring employees or put defences on them.

You can also buy your army here. With this army you can either destroy/invade other players properties or defend yours.

Explore

By doing this you will find different locations to build your properties. Each location has different tax fees. To buy a property on different locations you will need to buy their membership cards first. Then you can chose to buy 3 types of properties:

-Industrial

-Residential

-Commercial

Property Warehouse

The warehouse isn’t really full at the moment. Nowadays you can only buy a spy satellite here. But this is a very useful item. With this satellite you can check other players properties so that you invade them.

#Section 5: Connections

This section contains 5 different locations:

-Chat

-Legion Plaza

-Forums

-Tokyo Underworld

-University

Chat

FL's sophisticated chat rooms are always a cool place to hang out. Chill with the players or just watch as exciting conversation topics and discussions come up. Either in PHP or Flash chat, simply type into the box to say whatever you want. Make friends, use some frog code (PHP chat only) and express yourself!

Legion Plaza

The legion plaza exists out of 2 locations:

1. The legions

2. The legion award centre

The legions

Legions are a group of players that form an alliance. Whether it is because they simply want to enhance the FL community, or because they want to pool their resources and get free hospital coverage, players can apply to, be invited into, form and become staff of legions. Legions can loan money, impose taxes on members and purchase bounty hunters.

Legions must be run. In order to handle the intense administrative duties, the following positions should be appointed by the owner:

Owner - Owner of the legion. Can withdraw capital and perform any action on the legion.
Co-Owner - Helps with owner-type duties.
Forum Cleaner - In charge of the Forums & Polls
Advisor - In charge of the Polls
Equipment Manager - In charge of the Legion's item bin, armoury, and equipment
Treasurer - In charge of taxes and treasury options.
Judge - In charge of applicants & invites.
Webmaster - In charge of the legion website.

These positions and financial benefits, combined with the activity inside any legion, makes legions an ideal solution for bringing members together.

Legion award centre

This is more or less a hall of fame. The top 5 of  highest legion level are located in the centre.

Forums

FL's forums are perhaps where the life of the game is. By joining in thread discussions, starting your own, and just hanging out with the players, you will definitely see what Frog Life community is all about. Posting messages in the forum is easy! You just Enter your subject and message in the input boxes at the bottom, and post the message. You can also delete or edit your own posts later if you choose. Additionally, there are a hoard of exciting options in your My Account menu to personalize and revolutionize your forum experience.

Tokyo Underworld

This is the ultimate martial arts stadium of FL. Here you can show your moves and win fabulous prizes varying from 5000 kerpels to 10 million kerpels! I know that your pretty excited now so lets take a look on how it exactly works:

First you need to pick a fighting style. There are 3 different styles:

1.Ninjitsu, the way of the ninja

2.Boxumo, the way of the gangster

3.Majarta, the way of the sorcerer

Then you need to select your special moves:

1.Block (arm, leg, hand)

2.Dodge (duck, spin, jump)

3.Blow (punch, kick, elbow-knee)

After you have chosen your style and special attacks you will fight the trainer. Don’t forget your special moves. They are the best moves to use during the battles. After you killed your trainer you will advance in the tournament. One day you will reach the final and receive 10 million kerpels. Also your name will be published in the sacred scroll.

University

Everyone knows university graduates always get the best jobs. Yet why does FL give you only 1 career track?

Enter the gates of the Metropolis University. By enhancing your knowledge you can become educated in different career tracks, allowing you to accept the missions available for you there and possibly get a higher-paid position. After all, you can't live off the welfare cheque forever.

Unfortunately some delinquent frogs flushed cherry bombs in the toilet so the whole university is a mess. We will have to wait till its cleaned up before we can enter the university once again.

#Section 6: Downtown

This section contains 4 different locations:

-Hobo Lot

-M.C. Pooper Scoopers

-Science Lab

-Career Court

Hobo Lot

There's not much to be said about the filthy Hobo Lot in the middle of Metropolis. The Metropolis governors could not find a landlord to sell it to, and so they left it, empty, in the middle of downtown. It has since become the home of a variety of hobos, who have built an extensive labyrinth in their humble abode. Rumour says it's an excellent place to hide something...

Off course you co something here. You can hire a hobo and donators can hire 2 hobo’s. These hobos will gamble in the casino with you money. They will gain levels and once they have reached a high level they will make you a high profit.

M.C. Pooper Scoopers

Owned by the eccentric and excitable Mr. Cooper, M.C. Pooper Scoopers brings you a vast array of merchandise available nowhere else - or so he claims. Give his store a visit to see what he has to sell, and explore his merchandise. You never know where it will help you.

If you leave through the fire exit you will reach a secret area in the game. Here you can buy special items like healing powders and special kinds of food. But note that this area is only accessible for marries frogs.

Science Lab

This old, rickety building is located in the heart of Metropolis, and contains those hardworking professors that make Metropolis a scientifically adept place to live. They offer only 3 services to the public:

Black Serum
Take this to participate in one of their experiments. You will always get payment for participating, but sometimes the fees to get you back up in shape exceeds the reward. You could win or lose kerpels, so take this wisely. You must have at least 1000 kerpels with you to participate.

White Serum

Take this to participate in another of their experiments. The scientists always prepare drugs to try and make frogs gain or lose hit points, and you cant try one for free. Beware, though, because your hit points could go far down. You must have at least 30 HP to take this serum.

HP Restore
Luckily, the scientists have set up a department for frogs that need their lost HP back. Here, you can restore the effects of the White Serum and be normal again - but not for free.

Career Court

Every frog needs a job. What better way to feel useful, earn money and get promoted into the senior ranks of your career? Frog Life brings that option to you. By using the career track you chose in signup, you can apply for, work at and quit a job, and collect a steady pay check every day. The judge in the court is typically in charge of careers, so you will have to go to him with your requests.

Careers

You can easily enter your chosen career track by applying for an entry level position at the career court. Afterward, you must work every day by clicking a certain number of times in the work area. You can become educated for additional careers in the university at your leisure.

Welfare
Don't want to get a job? Collect a daily welfare cheque from the Career Court and you won't have to do anything! Being lazy can pay of, as the FL government's generosity is unlimited!

#Section 7: Specialties

This section contains 5 different locations:

-Jewellers

-Hot Date

-The Seasons Hotel

-Criminal Underground

-Black Market

Jewellers

If you are really sure that your lover is the only one for you, get married. To get married you need a diamond ring. A diamond ring can be bought here for 500.000 kerpels.

Hot Date

Feel to shy to ask someone out? Get the matchmaker to do it for you. She will ask the person and, if they agree, register the relationship with the FL Government so everyone will know you're no longer a single frog. While you have a lover you will have access to many new areas and sections of the game, and you will be able to send instant messages to your lover in FL news.

The Seasons Hotel

Here you can hire a room with your lover. Very nice indeed. But due to some problems the Hotel is closed. No problem though since you already have your own pad/dormitory this shouldn't affect you. However, you can still send your spouse private messages that will be delivered to them via news.

Criminal Underground

When you enter the criminal Underground you will have 3 options:

1.Enter the Robot War zone

2.Enter Shady Dealings

Enter the Robot War zone

The Robot War Zone is a place where you can start your own robot fight or make your robot join one. When a robot battle is created the creator decides how many opponents he/she wants to be participating. Once the battle becomes full, the fight begins and the results of the battle get delivered to the robot owners' news. During the fight your robot will be dedicated to destroying its competitors. After a robot has broken, the victor is rewarded with 2 nuggets as a prize. Once a robot breaks, it is up to the owner to take that robot to Blacksmith Bill to have it repaired.

Shady Dealings

In this underground shop they sell illegal items pertaining to vehicles. In the future Shady is hoping to find some partners to broaden the Shady Dealings horizons. Since this is a crooked establishment, please keep in mind that as I gain your trust, more items may become available to you. So you will need to achieve something in order to buy better car-stealing-items from Shady Dealings.

Black Market

There's not much to say about the dealings that go on here. Hidden from the FL Government, this "institution" buys and sells illegal merchandise to make a dishonest profit. Though it is illegal to shop here, their merchandise can prove useful in the game. Things such as credit cards are still honoured at the Bank of Metropolis and they may be a worthwhile investment for a big spender. Not to mention the buying and selling of

nuggets.

#Section 8: World Gates

This section contains 4 different locations:

-Area 51

-Galactic  Travel Commission

-Naval Docks

-Universal Trade Center

Area 51

Named so for recent events, Area 51 was bordered off by one of FL's Commanders after an alien landed within its borders. Someday, perhaps, after the alien has been caught, Area 51 can be opened up again to the public as a shop of service centre.

Don’t forget to check the crater. You can sneak in and steal some steel materials. After that go to the scrap yard and you can melt them into beams of pure steel. This is a requirement to build robots.

Galactic  Travel Commission

The Galactic Travel Commission again allows interplanetary flights, but you have to fly to our space station to travel there.

This travel commission can take you to 2 places:

1.The supervised Space-station which will take you to planet:

2. To the unsupervised space-station. This is your space-station. (the same link to enter space as the one located in your pad)

Naval Docks

After finishing a sub-quest Dolores the head of the naval docks will grant you a submarine pass. With this pass you can submerge in the deep blue sea. Who knows what treasures are hidden down there.

Universal Trade Centre

Need to trade an item, but not sure if the other frog will hold up their end of the bargain? Visit the UTC. Located in the heart of Metropolis, the UTC is the best place to conduct secure transactions involving large amounts of kerpels and items. For details on how to conduct a trade, visit Trading Assets above.

#Section 9: Religion

This section contains 3 different locations:

Temple of Umaja

To be honest, we can't tell you who Umaja is. And to be practical, no one can. 50 years ago, he purchased a plot of land from the FL Government for 50000 kerpels, and built some sort of temple.
Because Umaja is very selfish, you cannot share in his special religion (in which every member is awarded a million kerpels for prayer), but you can still visit him for other purposes. Umaja sells a variety of skins which are believed to be handcrafted and rumour is he holds a strict grudge against a certain creepy animal that hangs out in Jungle Nights.

#Section 10: Other Stuff

This section contains 4 different locations:

-Mario’s Eatery

-Food Festival

-Craftsman Corporation

-FLCF

Mario’s Eatery

Like Umaja, Mario was one of the first residents and landowners of Metropolis and has for 25 years been serving the best....and only...Italian food in Metropolis. Mario, though he used to be quite anew, has grown more and more eccentric in his older years and it is advisable not to take what he says too seriously. Mario's: Where the eats are great, the old men are crazy and the waiter's not worth listening to!

Food Festival

A history old tradition. In ancient Metropolis, when humans were more common and frogs were just beginning to talk, once a year the one who possessed the "Owner" title in Frog Life would offer fruit to the gods, followed by a year long celebration of cheap fruit and frog-life folly. Now, frogs act normal, but the tradition of fruit selling continues. Here you can buy the freshest fruit in Metropolis at the lowest price.

Craftsman Corporation

After you acquire enough nuggets, you buy the blueprint of the robot you want. You do not own the robot yet however, you still have to make it. The Craftsman Corporation in Metropolis can sell you blueprints.

Purchasing And Managing

How To Purchase A Team:
To purchase a team, you will need a lot of kerpels (the amount varies between about 400 million kerpels and 1 billion kerpels), and be a donator. Besides this, you are going to need enough kerpels to pay the players you sign to your team. A team is required to have at least 30 players, 15 forwards, and 15 defenders. And the owner can have one General Manager (GM) who has access to everything the owner does, excluding access to the team vault. GMs are not contracted for a pay, that will be worked out between owner and GM.

How To Manage A Team
Owners and GMs will be given the option to sign players, trade players, place players in their positions on the field, and the owner will have access to the team bank. If your team is not complete, you automatically lose. You can have an infinite number of players on your team, but the minimum is 30.

Player Stats
The people running the team have to know the best players to put into the game right? Well player stats can be accessed (more detail here) saying how many flags they have captured, how many people they have caught, times caught, games played, games played as a forward, and games played as a defender.

Tip: Players with lots of strength and speed (battle stats) make for great athletes!
Warning: Teams with over 33 players that are capable of playing on the team WHILE there are other team(s) that are struggling to get a full roster (during the regular season)..... the teams with over 33 capable players must cut their excess players or face a fine.

Game Time

Length Of Season
Each season will be 30 days. In those 30 days there will be 20 games played. Every game your team wins they will get 4 million kerpels. If you lose you will get nothing.

Length Of Off-season
The Off-season lasts 20 days. In the Off-season you will be able to get new players on your team and get your team stronger for the next season. All signings will need to be done in the off-season and owners will have no more than 20 days to do so.

Length Of Time During Games
Each game will be simulated upon the scheduled time. If the game is tied it will go into overtime which will decide which team wins the game.

Positions And In-Game Occurrences

Positions
Owners and GMs can group their players into two different positions to be "on field". The first position is forward. This player is used to try to actually capture the flag. The second position is defender. Defenders are based at your flag to try to keep the other teams forwards from getting your flag. Your team is to have a minimum, and a maximum of 15 players in each. Forwards will also sometimes tackle others, and defenders will sometimes capture flags.

Post-Game Recap (Summary)
Teams will be able to see the stats of their games after the game is over. Included in the recap will be the score (self-explanatory), which players got the flag, and which players got caught.

The Championship
The Championship is based on how the playoffs unfold.

----Battle System----

Off course now you know what you can do in FL. But you also want to gain levels. If you are already familiar with RPG-games you know that it is all about battling and gaining experience. FL knows 2 types of battle systems:

-The text based

-The Flash battles.

I will start with the text based battle system.

Text Based Battle System

First of all there are 2 main things which you should obey to battle. You have to be alive so take healing powders or go to the hospital to gain HP.

The second part is that you need to have stamina to battle. If you have stamina left and you are alive then you can start a battle.

But off course there’s more to it to win a battle. Stats are important and off course your weaponry. Try to attack players of the same level and age cause it is likely that you will lose to older players which have higher stats. If your not sure you can always visit the hit-man alley to check your opponents stats. Okay once your sure that you can kill the other player check the picture below for information on the battling system.

Flash Zone Battle System

Flash Battles are a way for you to finally face any opponent in Frog-Life in real-time, where your skill and determination will help you prevail over even the toughest of enemies. Players duke it out with fist, knives, bats, AK-47's, rifles, handguns and even a rocket launcher in order to gain more experience and ultimately more coins. Tournaments, prizes as well as new battle modes (1 vs. Many & Level Based Version) are just a few of the features to be added at a later time

The Flash Zone
To enter the Flash Zone, go to Your Pad and then click on Flash Zone. This area will contain your news, various stats, links to the store and your storage area, as well as well as the link to enter the battle lookup section.

Storage: Equip or interchange weapons and clothing / accessories in the combo boxes. Finalize settings by clicking Change.
Store: Purchase a wide variety of weapons, shirts, pants, shoes, jewellery, necklaces & headwear here with coins. Each weapon has its advantage and disadvantage so chose wisely.
Flash HP: The amount of hit points your flash character has.
Record: Wins / Losses
Coins: Gained by killing other players in a flash battle. Can be used to purchase items from the Store. [Tip: Players with a large amount of Exp offer the most coins]
Exp: You gain experience for each kill you make. [Tip: Players with a large amount of Exp when defeated give more Exp]
Battles Today: You get 30 battles a day, so if you use them up you will have to wait for reset for another 30 battles. If you are attacked by another player and you prevail, you will lose a battle.
Battle Modes: Click on the mode you wish to battle in. Currently only 1 vs. 1 Mode is available.

Finding an Opponent
After clicking on 1 vs. 1 mode you will be brought to the Flash Battle Lookup screen. Pinpoint your prey by their name, ID or view all available targets by clicking on The Whole List.  [Tip: Keep a list of your favourite targets or those who have the most exp]

Battling
Once you've selected an opponent, you'll end up with the following popup. The download may take several minutes the first time you play it, so be patient.

Battle Stats
Each of these values are based on your Frog-Life Character's stats. Training has a significant impact on you flash stats.
Defence: Represented by the shield symbol.
Speed: Represented by the blue arrow.
Strength: Represented by the yellow bullets.
Bullet Time: Represented by the hour glass.
Accuracy: Represented by the target symbol.

CLICK ON Go! WHEN YOU'RE READY TO KICK SOME.
...But I would suggest reading up on controls first.

Q

E

P

F

You aim by moving your cursor around the screen. Crosshairs will be added in a later version.

Battling
Learning to use each of the controls will enable you to dance circles around your opponent. In this arena, stats matter but victory often comes down to your skill. Practice makes perfect, as they say!

Your life is represented by the red bar below your name and by the percentage to the left of it. As you can see I am at full health and my opponent's life is at 0%.

A major advantage in the battle is your ability to use "Bullet Time" [toggle on / off with the Q key]. This basically slows the battle down to bring even the fastest opponent down to your level. Use your time wisely as you only get a certain amount of bullet time each battle.

At the end of the battle, a small box will appear either with the message "WIN" or "FAIL". If you win you will be given a reward of experience as well as coins. Defeating opponents with more experience will reap greater rewards. You can keep battling the same individual until you win. Once you win you cannot battle this person until reset. To exit the flash battle at the end click on the OK button that will appear below the reward screen.

Levels isn’t everything in the game. If you have checked the Hall of Fame you will see different Halls of fame like wealth, wins etc. It is obvious that as a new player you have the ambition to become very rich. Go to the Help board, which is located in the Forums to find my kerpels making guide to increase your wealth rapidly!

Even after all this information there are still question left. That is logical since FL is quite a large game and there’s so much to do. So therefore you can check the FAQ section. I hope that it can answer your questions (This is also located in the Forums).
